Dr. Zada was born and raised in San Mateo and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz. He continued on to complete his Doctorate in Optometry from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA. While at Western, Dr. Zada was Treasurer of the Private Practice Club, participated in optometric advocacy events with the California Optometric Association (COA), and led fundraising efforts for the House of Ruth, a non-profit shelter for victims of domestic violence. In 2022, Dr. Zada earned the COA Young Advocates Award.
Dr. Zada completed clinical internships at the Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, Castle Family Health Center in Atwater, California, and Veteran’s Affairs Hospitals in Tulsa, Oklahoma and Newington, Connecticut. In his free time Dr. Zada enjoys reading, hiking, skateboarding, and spending time with his family.
